Santa Cruz, CA: photo diary

This past weekend, I went on a road trip with my boyfriend and his family to Santa Cruz. I immediately fell in love with the city and its suburban meets beach city environment. It's picturesque from every angle and beautiful in every way, so this trip will be posted as a two parter!
I absolutely love the beach (that's the swimmer in me). The weather was gloomy and breezy; the crisp air was just refreshing enough to wear my Forever21 triangle top and favorite distressed jeans. Tore up jeans and the beach is one of my favorite combinations.

And On To London

Life Imitating Art
This is the outfit I wore the first day in London (including the plane ride). My two best friends at this location were my grey slouchy beanie and docs, which I'm wearing above. London is notorious for having unpredictable weather, and I call my docs my "rain boots." I went around town and took  pictures mimicking the poses of statues I saw, as you can see.

Let's Start With Rome

Taking a stroll in the Roman Forum and stopping to smell the flowers.
I'm back from my two week adventure around Europe, and I had a blast with all my friends! This trip easily topped my first, and it makes me excited to go back to these wonderful places again some day. For the next couple of posts, you'll see pictures I took whilst travelling and the outfits that each place inspired. I'm starting off with Rome because this is where I wore my favorite outfit of the whole trip.

Let the Countdown Begin

La Tour Eiffel, Paris
Two years ago, at the end of my freshman year of high school, I was fortunate enough to go on a two week adventure to Europe my French teacher organizes every couple years. Two years later, I'm getting ready to go back again! I feel so blessed and cannot thank my wonderful mother enough. This shot was taken whilst driving by la Tour Eiffel on a gloomy day (sorry for the glare, it was taken behind the glass of a car window). There are so many things that I want to do on this trip that I didn't get to do on my last, and I'm excited to make lots of new memories with my great friends that are also going on the trip. I'm leaving for London On the 17th, a week from today!
