Berkeley, CA

Hey readers! In the past few weeks, I've been undergoing a lot of transition. I moved to Berkeley, CA to start school. The city is great; it's full of so much diversity in terms of everything from the people to the eateries. I hope to be taking more street style pictures, and I hope to take more street style pictures (which I hope you all will enjoy). I'm currently looking for a photographer to collaborate with during my time here, so bear with me during this transition!

Santa Cruz pt.2: the show

The purpose of the trip was to go watch folklorico dance performance that my boyfriend's older brother danced in. Folklorico is a type of dance that celebrates the different regions of Mexico through different regional traditions.
The UC Santa Cruz Dance group is called Los Mejicas, and it was such an amazing performance; I encourage anybody from the day area to go watch a performance the upcoming school year! Before the show, me and my trusty boyfriend turned photographer searched for a place on campus to snap a couple shots. I dressed for the night, so I opted for a sleeveless crop top and chelsea boots.

Santa Cruz, CA: photo diary

This past weekend, I went on a road trip with my boyfriend and his family to Santa Cruz. I immediately fell in love with the city and its suburban meets beach city environment. It's picturesque from every angle and beautiful in every way, so this trip will be posted as a two parter!
I absolutely love the beach (that's the swimmer in me). The weather was gloomy and breezy; the crisp air was just refreshing enough to wear my Forever21 triangle top and favorite distressed jeans. Tore up jeans and the beach is one of my favorite combinations.

Cali Green

This memorial day weekend, I attended a family event at a quaint hotel in North Hollywood. If you're not from Southern California and you]ve never been there, you should really consider visiting. I love the eclectic shops and eateries, the street art and artistic people. Since the event was semi-formal, I brought out my favorite mini dress.
