This memorial day weekend, I attended a family event at a quaint hotel in North Hollywood. If you're not from Southern California and you]ve never been there, you should really consider visiting. I love the eclectic shops and eateries, the street art and artistic people. Since the event was semi-formal, I brought out my favorite mini dress.
I fell in love with this grassy wall at the hotel; I thought it was a great contrast to the colors I wore. As summer approaches, I'm tending to lean towards more loose fitting outfits. It was weird seeing myself look so polished after a week of high wasted shorts and loose fitting tanks.
